Technology & Measurement Systems

How many measurement channels are possible in total?

Our measurement systems offer up to 256 channels. The MultiMessBOX can be expanded freely – multiple boxes can be combined in a daisy chain via CAN bus.

How fast is your measurement technology?

Up to 100 kHz total sampling rate. Highly dynamic processes such as crash tests, switching events or pressure peaks can be captured precisely.

Which sensors can be connected?

All common sensors, preferably with analogue output (current or voltage). We supply the matching measurement amplifier modules – including PE11, GB11, TF12, UC11, UD11/12/13, RT12, UT11, IL11, UP11 and FA11.

Which measured quantities can be acquired?

Current (AC/DC), voltage (AC/DC), strain, torque, displacement, angle, pressure, force, acceleration, speed, flow and frequency.

Which interfaces are supported?

USB, serial, Ethernet (for power analysers such as LMG), Modbus TCP and CAN bus. This allows Burat & Klein hardware and third-party devices to be acquired together in one software.

Are control functions also available?

Yes. The MessBOX can drive actuators analogically with an additional module – both via voltage and current. This enables control of test benches and automatic setpoint specification.

What happens if I need a new measured quantity later?

For the MultiMessBOX and TeleInspektor® Multi, a matching amplifier module can simply be added. The system grows with your requirements.

MessMAX® Software

Do I need to program the system?

No. The system arrives fully pre-configured and on request pre-assembled – you can start measuring immediately without writing a single line of code.

What are the advantages of MessMAX®?

Simple configuration without any programming knowledge. Measure, control and evaluate in a single piece of software – compatible with our entire hardware portfolio and external devices via Ethernet, USB, CAN bus and Modbus TCP.

Do you offer MessMAX® training?

Yes, we offer individual MessMAX® training – both at our location on Lake Constance and on-site at your premises. Content and scope are tailored to your specific measurement task.

Service & Support

Do you offer on-site service?

Yes. Our service technicians handle commissioning, maintenance and repairs directly on-site. Our service technicians come to our customers.

Do you have your own calibration laboratory?

Yes, we operate our own calibration laboratory and work with DAkkS-calibrated measurement instruments. On request you receive a complete calibration certificate for your measurement.

How long are your devices supported?

Sustainability is important to us – we can still repair or maintain MessBOXes that are up to 20 years old. Long-term availability is part of our concept.

Do you also offer engineering and sensor selection?

Yes. We recommend the right sensors independent of manufacturer based on your application – from displacement measurement to torque and pressure sensors. You get the complete measurement package from a single source.

Company & Data Protection

Where are the systems developed and manufactured?

Development and production take place in Meckenbeuren on Lake Constance – for over 35 years. Made in Germany, fully manufactured in Germany.

Which industries use your measurement technology?

Automotive, mechanical engineering, energy, actuators, test benches and research & development. Universally applicable wherever dynamic measurement data is acquired, controlled or evaluated.

How secure is my measurement data?

All customer data is stored locally on servers at our main plant or GDPR-compliant in Germany. No cloud requirement, no data sharing – your measurement data stays with you.

Your question wasn't answered?

We are happy to advise you personally – direct from the manufacturer, no waiting.
